ALTA Competency Exam - Therapy Level
The ALTA Competency Exam for Multisensory Structured Language Education measures an individual’s knowledge of and skills in Multisensory Structured Language Education (MSLE) and verifies that the individual has achieved the highest level of competency in the field of dyslexia education.
In order to promote the most current, competent methods and standards of practice, ALTA requires a minimum of ten continuing education hours annually to maintain professional certification.
The requirement for a master's degree will begin in 2023. I held a master's degree before beginning my ALTA training and received a second master's degree upon completing the Colorado College program.
